This page explains the cookies and browser storage used on getboutiquepos.com, what each one does and how you control them. It applies to the marketing website. The BoutiquePOS app uses its own login session cookie, which is needed for you to stay signed in.
What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. Cookies can be sent back to the website with each visit. Local storage stays in your browser and is read only by the site’s own scripts. We mostly use local storage, and the values stay on your device.
Do you track me before I agree?
No. Analytics and marketing tags do not load until you accept them in our cookie banner. At the time of writing, no analytics or marketing tags are configured on this site at all. If we add any in future, the banner will gate them by category and this page will list them before they go live.
Which categories does the cookie banner use?
| Category | What it covers | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Storage the site needs to work and to remember your cookie choice, plus spam protection on forms | Always on |
| Preferences | Your display settings, country, billing view and recent searches | On, stored only in your browser |
| Analytics | Tools that count visits and show which pages help visitors (none configured today) | Off until you accept |
| Marketing | Advertising and remarketing tags (none configured today) | Off until you accept |
What does this site store in my browser?
Every key below is stored in your browser’s local storage. None of them is sent to us unless you submit a form, and then only the campaign attribution value is included.
| Key | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| bp-consent | Remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not ask again | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| bp-theme | Remembers light or dark display mode | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| bp-palette | Remembers the color palette you picked | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| bp-country | Remembers your country so prices show in your currency | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| bp-billing | Remembers whether you are viewing monthly or yearly prices | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| bp-a11y | Remembers display settings such as text size, contrast and reduced motion | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| bp-recent | Keeps your recent site searches for quick access | localStorage | Until you clear it |
| sf-attr-v1 | Campaign attribution: keeps utm_* tags, gclid, fbclid or msclkid from the link that brought you, so a form can tell us which ad or link it was | localStorage | Until you clear it |
What about Cloudflare Turnstile?
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending them. When a form loads, Turnstile may set a functional cookie and read basic browser signals. This is used only for spam and abuse protection, so it counts as essential. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy explains how it handles that data.
How do I change or clear my choices?
- Change your cookie choice: use the cookie settings link in the site footer to reopen the banner.
- Clear everything: use your browser’s settings to clear site data for getboutiquepos.com. This resets all the keys above, and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
- Block storage: most browsers let you block cookies or storage for a site. The site still works, but your settings will not be remembered.
Global Privacy Control
Because no analytics or marketing tags are configured today, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. If we add any in future, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a “no” to the analytics and marketing categories.
Changes and questions
We will update this page whenever we add, remove or change a key or tag, and change the date at the top. For questions, see our Privacy Policy, use the Show email button on our contact page, or use the form at /data-request/.
