Three markets

Set up for how boutiques sell in three countries

A boutique in Miami, one in Dubai Mall and one on Liberty Market all sell clothes, but they price, tax and talk to customers differently. BoutiquePOS is configured for each.

BoutiquePOS serves boutiques in the USA, the UAE and Pakistan. It prices plans in dollars, dirhams or rupees, supports tax added at checkout or included in the price (such as UAE 5% VAT), prints receipts in your layout and language, including Arabic and Urdu, and records the payment methods each market uses.

Tax rules change. Check with your tax adviser and the UAE Federal Tax Authority or the Federal Board of Revenue (Pakistan). BoutiquePOS holds no country certification.

Notes per country

United States

US boutiques usually price before tax and add sales tax at checkout, so set your state and local rates per location. Card payments run through your own processor, and the online store helps with holiday traffic and gift returns in January.

Selling in United States

United Arab Emirates

UAE prices are shown with 5% VAT included, and receipts can show the VAT amount in English and Arabic. Most boutique conversations start on WhatsApp, so product links from the online store are handy. A Saudi e-invoicing add-on exists if you also trade in Saudi Arabia.

Selling in United Arab Emirates

Pakistan

Pakistani boutiques sell through Eid, wedding and lawn seasons, often by the suit or the meter, and receipts can print in Urdu. Wallet payments such as JazzCash and Easypaisa are recorded as payment methods at the till. Set your sales tax rates to match your own tax advice.

How does BoutiquePOS handle currency and tax in each country?

You set your business currency and tax rules when you sign up. Tax rates and tax groups can be inclusive, as UAE shops show VAT, or exclusive, added at checkout as US shops do with sales tax.

Multi-currency is supported, but your plan price is set per country in your own currency and is never converted in the browser. We do not give tax advice; enter the rates your accountant confirms.

Can receipts follow local language and layout?

Yes. Each location can have its own receipt and invoice layout, and receipts can print in the shop's language, including Arabic and Urdu written right to left.

That means a Dubai branch can print English and Arabic while a Lahore branch prints in Urdu, under the same account.

Is BoutiquePOS certified with tax authorities?

No. BoutiquePOS is not certified or integrated with the UAE Federal Tax Authority or Pakistan's FBR, and we do not claim fiscal-printer certification. It records your tax correctly as you configure it and gives you the reports to file.

A ZATCA e-invoicing add-on exists for Saudi Arabia only. If your market needs a certified system, check with your tax advisor first.

FAQ

Country & tax questions

Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp or the form, or search the help center.

Which countries does BoutiquePOS serve?

The USA, the UAE and Pakistan, with prices in dollars, dirhams and rupees and support teams in each market.

Does BoutiquePOS handle UAE VAT?

Yes. You can set a 5% VAT rate with prices shown inclusive, and receipts can show the VAT amount. It is not certified or integrated with the Federal Tax Authority.

Is BoutiquePOS integrated with FBR in Pakistan?

No. It records sales tax as you configure it and gives you reports, but it is not FBR-integrated. Check with your tax advisor about your obligations.

Can I set different US sales tax rates for different shops?

Yes. Tax rates and tax groups can be set per location, so each shop charges its own state and local rate.

Can I sell in more than one currency?

Multi-currency is supported. Your business has a main currency for reports, and you can ask on your demo how to handle tourists or cross-border orders.

Does it accept JazzCash and Easypaisa?

You can record JazzCash, Easypaisa and bank transfers as payment methods at the till. The money moves in those apps; BoutiquePOS records it.

Who processes card payments?

Your own card processor. BoutiquePOS works with your processor and never handles card money.

Is there a Saudi e-invoicing option?

A ZATCA e-invoicing add-on exists for Saudi Arabia only. It does not apply to the UAE or Pakistan.

Can one account run shops in two countries?

Ask on your demo. Locations can have their own tax rates and receipt layouts, and we will check that the setup suits your accounting.
