Signup to sale · about 45 minutes
There is nothing to install and nobody to wait for. Most boutiques with around 50 styles go from signup to a first sale in about 45 minutes.
Setting up BoutiquePOS takes four steps: sign up and create your business (about 5 minutes), add your shop, registers and staff (about 10 minutes), add products by CSV import or style by style with sizes and colors (about 25 minutes for 50 styles), then go live with your online store generated and your first sale rung (about 5 minutes).
Step 1 · 5 min
Create your account and your business: shop name, currency and how tax works where you trade.
Step 2 · 10 min
Add your location, your registers and the staff who will use them, each with their own login.
Step 3 · 25 min for ~50 styles
Import a CSV from your old system or a spreadsheet, or add styles one by one with their size and color lists.
Step 4 · 5 min
Your online store is generated from the catalog. Open the register, print a few labels and ring your first sale.
After you go live
With the catalog in, print barcode labels for the stock on the rack so every sale is a scan, not a search.
Walk the rack size by size and fix any opening counts. A clean count in week one keeps your reports honest all season.
Put the online store link in your Instagram bio and your WhatsApp business profile, and send it to regulars.
Close the register at the end of each day and check the totals against your cash and card slips. By Friday the routine is second nature.
A browser on a tablet, laptop or desktop, and a list of your products. A spreadsheet export from your old POS is ideal; a photo of your stock book is a start.
Hardware is optional on day one. You can ring sales by searching for products and share receipts digitally, then add a scanner and printers when you are ready.
