How does BoutiquePOS handle sales tax in Pakistan?

You set the tax rates and whether they are inclusive or exclusive, and the till applies them on every sale and receipt. Prices on our own plans are shown plus applicable sales tax.

Sales tax rules for retailers differ by category and size of business, and larger retailers have FBR point-of-sale integration requirements. BoutiquePOS is not FBR-integrated and we make no certification claims, so check with your tax adviser before you choose a setup.

Can I sell unstitched suits and fabric by the meter?

Yes. Units and sub-units let you sell cloth by the meter and also as a fixed cut, for example a suit that equals three meters, so stock comes off correctly either way.

A three-piece unstitched lawn suit is one SKU with its own barcode, while a stitched pret kurta runs as variations by size and color. Dupattas sold separately get their own SKU, so you are never short a dupatta for a suit you already sold.

Does it print Urdu receipts?

Yes. The interface has an Urdu translation with right-to-left layout, and each location can carry its own receipt layout, so a Liberty Market shop can print Urdu and English while your Islamabad branch prints English only.

Product names can include both scripts, which helps when customers ask for a cut by its Urdu name and your cashier searches in English.

How does it fit WhatsApp orders and online sales?

Most Pakistani boutiques take a big share of orders on WhatsApp and Instagram. You check live stock by size before confirming, record the advance by JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer, and mark the balance as cash on delivery.

Your catalog also becomes an online store automatically, with photos, sizes and stock, and WooCommerce stores sync products, stock and orders.

Can it handle the Eid and wedding season rush?

Yes. Discounts can be scheduled by date range, brand or category, registers can be opened and closed per shift, and stock reports show what is running low across every branch before chaand raat.

For bridal and formal wear, customer records hold measurements in notes and purchase history, and reward points bring families back for the next wedding in the circle.

FAQ

Boutique POS in Pakistan: questions

Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp or the form, or search the help center.

Are BoutiquePOS plans priced in rupees?

Yes. Pakistan plans are priced in PKR per location, from $29 a month plus applicable sales tax, with 14 free days to start.

Is BoutiquePOS FBR-integrated?

No. We don't claim FBR integration or any certification. If your business falls under FBR's POS integration rules, speak to your tax adviser before choosing your setup.

Can it record JazzCash and Easypaisa payments?

Yes. You add them as payment methods and the till records them alongside cash and cards, so your register close shows each one separately. The money moves through your own JazzCash or Easypaisa account.

Can I sell a suit as three meters of fabric?

Yes. Set meters as the base unit and a suit as a sub-unit equal to three meters. Stock deducts correctly whether you sell the full suit or a cut length.

Does it work with load-shedding?

BoutiquePOS is hosted and needs internet, so keep the till and router on a UPS and a mobile data device as a backup. It does not have an offline mode.

Can my branches in two cities share stock?

Yes. Each branch is a location with its own registers and staff, and you can transfer stock between them, for example moving slow sizes from Karachi to Lahore.

Can I give regular customers loyalty points?

Yes. Reward points are earned on purchases and redeemed at the till, and customer groups let you give family or trade discounts.

Does it support wholesale and retail prices?

Yes. Selling price groups let you keep a wholesale price for resellers next to the retail price, chosen by customer group at the sale.
