Yes. BoutiquePOS works for boutiques, abaya ateliers and textile shops across the UAE. Prices are shown in dirhams with 5% VAT included, receipts print in Arabic and English with your TRN, each size or length is its own SKU, and stock stays in step between your mall unit, souk shop and online store.

How does BoutiquePOS show UAE VAT?

Set your tax as inclusive at 5% and the price on the tag is the price the customer pays. The receipt breaks out the VAT amount, and you can add your TRN and business details to the receipt layout for each location.

The UAE is moving to structured e-invoicing in phases. BoutiquePOS is not an accredited e-invoicing service provider, so speak to your tax adviser about what your business will need and when.

Can receipts and the till work in Arabic?

Yes. The interface has an Arabic translation with right-to-left layout, and each location can use its own receipt layout, so a Jumeirah boutique can print Arabic and English while the staff screen stays in English.

Product names can carry both languages, which helps when an Emirati customer asks for a jalabiya by its Arabic name and your cashier searches in English.

How do I track abayas by length and fabric?

Make length the size option. An abaya style can run 52 to 60 inches by color, and each combination gets its own SKU, barcode and stock count, so you know exactly how many 56-inch black pieces are left before Eid.

For fabric shops, units and sub-units let you sell by the meter or by a fixed cut, and price groups let you keep a wholesale price for tailors next to your retail price.

How does it fit WhatsApp-first selling?

Most UAE boutiques close a large share of sales on WhatsApp and Instagram. With BoutiquePOS you check live stock by variation before you promise a piece, then ring the order up with bank transfer, card link or cash on delivery recorded as the payment method.

Customer records keep purchase history and sizes, so when a regular messages for the same cut in a new color you can see what she bought last Eid in seconds.

Which payment methods does it work with in the UAE?

BoutiquePOS works with your own card processor and records cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash and bank transfer at the till. We never handle the money.

Buy-now-pay-later is popular in UAE fashion. If you offer Tabby or Tamara, you add it as a custom payment method so your reports split sales correctly; the plan itself runs through your agreement with that provider.

FAQ

Boutique POS in United Arab Emirates: questions

Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp or the form, or search the help center.

Are BoutiquePOS prices for the UAE in dirhams?

Yes. UAE plans are priced in AED per location, from $29 a month, and your shop sells in dirhams. You can enable other currencies if you take payment from tourists or overseas buyers.

Can I show prices VAT-inclusive?

Yes. Set 5% VAT as an inclusive tax and the shelf price includes it, with the VAT amount shown on the receipt. Confirm your VAT registration details and invoice wording with your tax adviser.

Is BoutiquePOS FTA-accredited for e-invoicing?

No. We don't claim any UAE e-invoicing accreditation. Ask your tax adviser about the e-invoicing phases that apply to your business.

Does it support Arabic?

Yes. The interface is translated into Arabic with right-to-left layout, and you can print Arabic and English receipts with different layouts per location.

Can I run a mall shop and a souk shop together?

Yes. Each location has its own registers, staff and receipt layout, stock can be transferred between them, and both share one catalog and one online store.

Do you take a cut of card sales?

No. BoutiquePOS works with your own card processor; we never process the payment. The till records the method so your daily close matches your bank.

Can my tailoring workshop get a different price?

Yes. Selling price groups let you keep a wholesale or trade price for tailors and resellers alongside your retail price, applied by customer group.

Does it work offline?

No. BoutiquePOS is hosted and needs an internet connection. Most shops keep a mobile hotspot as a backup line for the till.
